In Wiccan and Ritual Magick ceremonies, the quarters represent the four elements (air, earth, fire and water) as well as the cardinal directions north, south, east and west. During a Wiccan ritual, one person typically represents each quarter, which has its own recitation, or 'call' to invoke the four 'watchers'. |
